Racing resumes in Singapore and Malaysia

SINGAPORE:  Jul 9 , 2020

Racing in Singapore resume this Saturday with a 14-race card after an enforced break due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Singapore Turf Club held it last meeting on Apr 3 and the last few meetings before the break were held under closed door.

This Saturday's meeting and the few that follows will be held under closed door as well.

Meanwhile, racing in Malaysia will also resume with the Penang Turf Club and Selangor Turf Club holding the first meeting since Mar 8.

The Penang over the next two weekends will not be the traditional Sprint Trophy meeting in July. With racing just resuming, the big race will be held later in the year.
