Ipoh meeting abandoned after three races

IPOH:  Jan 3, 2021

Beaten into second spot in his last two starts, DISCRETELY RED went one better in his first start of the 2021 season with an easy win in the opening event here today.

Placed in his only run in New Zealand, the Redwood gelding picked up one win in eight starts in Singapore before coming under the care of Wong Kong Fatt in Malaysia.

DISCRETELY RED has now won six times in 37 outings in Malaysia.

The day's proceedings were cut short after just three races were in heavy going. Heavy rain which began overnight continued through the day, rendering the track unsafe for racing.
