The Malaysia 3YO Championship for this year, along with with the Malaysia 4YO Challenge, have been cancelled.

The three Malaysian Clubs called off the two series due to the uncertainties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The 3YO Championship series was due to start on May 15 with one heat each at the three Clubs, and concluding with the Final in Penang on July 18.

The 4YO Challenge was introduced this year as a result of the cancellation of the 3YO Championship last year and two heats have been staged thus far.

OCEAN LAW took the first heat in Ipoh on April 4 when only six horses faced the starter. A week later, XENA caused an upset to win in Kuala Lumpur.

A total of nine heats were planned with the winner being decided on points.
