Lim's Dashing heads Koetzee's five winners

LIM'S DASHING scored his fourth win in 26 starts at Kranji in March last year and after months on the sidelines, made his way across the causeway to join trainer Lim Boon Thong last November but moved again a month later to come under the care of Kevin Coetzee in Ipoh.

After two unplaced runs, the Darco Brahma gelding was off the mark with a win followed by a second placing earlier this season.

The Perak Turf Club held the first meeting since the enforced break due to Covid-19 today and LIM'S DASHING quickly made up for the lost time with an easy win in the Cosmo C set-weight event over 1200m today.

Coetzee, meanwhile, dominated the day's proceedings, which was confined to home based horses, by winning five of the eight races on the card.

Harmeet Singh Gill was on the hand to boot home three of the winners.
