Following the cancellation of the races last Sunday, the Perak Turf Club has now called off the remaining two days of their May meeting scheduled for this weekend as well.

This is as a result of Malaysia coming under a nation-wide Movement Control Order (MCO) from May 12 to last till June 7.

In the midst of this, the final day of the Penang Turf Club May meeting went ahead last Saturday albeit without racing fans. Only officials, staff, trainers and jockeys with engagements were allowed entry into the club.
