Lim's Piper calls the tune as racing returns

Unplaced in three runs in Singapore, LIM'S PIPER picked up his second win in eight outings in Malaysia with a runaway win in a Class 4 - 1400m handicap here today.

Racing in Malaysia resumed today after 1 1/2 months, but with Selangor and Penang still in lockdown, races today were confined to horses based in Ipoh.

LIM'S PIPER won two races from just four starts in Australia but was dismal in three starts at Kranji.

The son of Myboycharlie broke through with a win over 1200m here last September and after just one unplaced run, was back in the winner's circle. After settling in second spot, he took a narrow lead into the straight and raced away to win by 2 3/4 lengths.
