trainer Van Breukelen

Trainer Evert van Breukelen enjoyed
his best-ever day at the races when he saddled five good-priced winners at
his home base here today. But it was a day to forget for punters when only
one favourite, KING RAVANA, managed to oblige in a card of eight races.
Van Breukelen's first winner FAST AND SUPER notched his third win in 15
starts to pay RM38. His second, eight-year-old TRINITY HONOR, picked up just
his second win in 33 starts and paid RM75.
The van Breukelen stable provided a even bigger surprise when 10-year-old
LION CONQUEROR scored his first win since October 2020 to pay the day's
highest dividend of RM97. It was his eight win in Malaysia/Singapore.
Nine-year-old TILSWORTH MALI (RM55) ended a three-year drought to give van
Breukelen his fourth winner of the day. It was the sixth win for the mare
since her debut in 2016.
Van Breukelen's fifth winner ANDADO (RM29) scored his fourth win in
Malaysia/Singapore, after having won thrice in New Zealand.
