takes charge again

CHINA CAPTAIN landed his fifth win
of the season when he over-powered the front-running ARC TRIUMPH to win the
Banded 62-89 event over 1400m here today.
ARC TRIUMPH set a cracking pace in the soft going and was several lengths
clear of the field at the half-way stage.
But CHINA CAPTAIN, ridden by Yudanyl Aify who had scored four times in the
gelding in the past, began to close the gap passing the 200m and master the
leader close home to win by half a length.
The son of Rebel Raider has now won seven times in 31 starts since landing
in Malaysia unraced.
Meanwhile, HARLEY FLAME, a recent transfer to Bonny Ng despite winning his
last start, scored another easy win to help his new trainer complete a
treble.
Earlier, Ng had saddled PERFECT MISSION and QIJI LOVE to victory set the
stage for his best day for a while.
