After two unplaced runs on the turf, CASH COVE his found his form on the polytrack with two consecutive wins.

Victory in a Restricted Maiden race last month was followed by a runaway win in Novice company over 1100m at Kranji here today.

Ridden by Wong Chin Chuen who rode him in his initial two runs, the three-year-old made all the running to romp home by 3 1/2 lengths.

"I’ve been riding him for about two months and I really love the horse," said Wong. "He’s just turned three, is a nice horse and I believe he still has a lot of improvement in him.

"He’s definitely improved a lot from his last win from what he showed today. I think this horse will be really nice for the Three-Year-Old races next year."

"We will look at what is coming up on the programme that will suit him and decide from there," said trainer Alwin Tan. ""He just turned three, so he is definitely look for more distance; he can go up to 1400m or 1600m."

CASH COVE, who was originally sold for NZ$32,000 as a yearling, was picked up by his owners at the Ready-To-Run sale.

CASH COVE was the middle leg of a treble for Wong who had scored on BUURAQ and went on to win on ACE SOVEREIGN.
