Keen Dragon still
a force at 12 years

KEEN DRAGON showed that there is
plenty of zest left in him despite turning 12 years old last month.
Ridden by Eirwan Khalid, the son of Hidden Dragon was parked just off the
pace in a tightly-bunched field in a Class 5 contest over 1400m here today.
KEEN DRAGON moved up to join a line of four horses at the 400m. MY AIM was
the first to break from the pack at the 300m with KEEN DRAGON in pursuit.
KEEN DRAGON collared MY AIM at the 200m and began to draw away from the
200m, going on to win by 1 1/2 lengths. BLUE EYED BOY flashed home in the
final 100m to beat MY AIM for second.
It was the third win of the season for KEEN DRAGON who has now scored 14
times in 109 starts since making his debut in 2014.
