In All His Glory passes first test on polytrack

IN ALL HIS GLORY defied a promotion to capture the Class 3 - 1600m handicap on the polytrack at Kranji here today, his first start and first win on the surface.

The son of All Too Hard had scored over the same distance on the turf last time out but found it just as comfortable on the polytrack today.

IN ALL HIS GLORY led round the first bend but was eventually eased back by Jim Bayliss and settled in third spot. The gelding stacked his claim at the 200m and raced past the leaders with some ease to win by two lengths.

"He did the first half, jumped well and put himself on the speed," said Bayliss. "There was a query whether he would stretch out on the synthetic surface (Polytrack) but he can go round any other week!"

IN ALL HIS GLORY was sold for A$300,000 at the Sydney Ready 2 Race sale. He has now won five times in 20 starts.
