Magnificent day for Nunes with four winners

Manoel Nunes was at his best again at Kranji today when he won four consecutive races, the second time he has achieved a four-timer this season after booting home four winners on Jan 8.

But they were not his best day at the office. The Brazilian rode five winners on Feb 26 and now leads the table with 41 winners, 23 ahead of second-placed Oscar Chavez.

Nunes hit the mark in his fifth ride of the afternoon on MAGNIFICENT GOLD, a horse he rode for the first time last month when they finished unplaced. It was the fourth win in Singapore for the High Chaparral gelding who also had a win in Australia.

When Nunes rode SEE YAH for the first time last month, they were narrowly beaten into second place. They have to fight hard again today but prevailed by a head for the Australian gelding's third win in Singapore.

SEE YAH raced in good company in Australia, winning three races including one at Warwick Farm and another at Flemington.

For YES ONE BALL, it was the success at their first partnership. The Zoustar gelding, though, had already won three times in 24 previous outings, having landed in Singapore unraced.

Nunes' fourth winner came abroad HERO, a horse he was riding for the third time this season. The Australian gelding had scored twice last year.
