Nunes hits milestone with four winners

Manoel Nunes landed four winner at Kranji here today to take his Singapore tally to 2,000 wins.

The Brazilian jockey was off to a brilliant start for the meeting when he won his three rides on TAKHI, FLASHPAST and WAWASAN.

He then hit the milestone with success on LOVING BABE, a horse he was riding for the first time. The Australian gelding came from behind to snatch victory by a nose.

TAKHI maiden his debut in February 2020 and found to beat eight times since before his comeback win today.

FLASHPAST stepped up on his second placing over 1400m last start to win the Restricted Maiden - 1600m event.

WAWASAN has been placed five times this season before chalking up his second win in 21 starts.

LOVING BABE has now won four times in 33 starts.
