Talented living up to his name

Given a lengthy preparation after arriving in the country in March last year, TALENTED is living up his name once he started his campaign this year.

A series of minor placings since making his debut on New Year's Day ended with the four-year-old scoring his maiden win last month when he defeated BELIEVER to win a Class 5 - 1100m handicap at Sungei Besi last month.

TALENTED went on to run second in a Class 4 - 1200m sprint two weeks ago and went better to easily accounted for a similar race here today, again beating BELIEVER into second place.

With two wins and five placings from eight starts, the future looks bright indeed for the New Zealand gelding.
