Galileo's Approach lands another win

GALILEO'S APPROACH showed that he can raise a gallop at the age of 10 with his second win of the season in the combined Classes 3 & 4 - 1400m handicap here today.

Saddam Hussein Saari, who is riding in great form at the moment, settled the Australian gelding just behind the pacemaker UNDER OATH in the six-horse field.

GALILEO'S APPROACH was switched out from behind the leader to make his challenge turning for home and was joined by MAGIC CITY on his outside.

The three leaders were almost in a line approaching the 200m but GALILEO'S APPROACH managed to surge ahead soon after and drew away. GEOGRETOWN, however, made a late bid but leader held on to win by 3/4 length.

It was his seventh win since making his debut in Singapore in 2016, including three wins at Kranji.
