Battlestar shares Winner's Euphoria

BATTLESTAR is racing in the form of his life towards the tailend of the 2023 season.

Unplaced in two runs in Singapore, the Hinchinbrook gelding struggled to find his form after his transfer to Sharee Hamilton in 2021 and it was only in May last year that he broke through for his maiden success.

BATTLESTAR had to wait till February this year to find the mark again, winning back-to-back races in Class 5.

Two more wins in Class 5 followed but the Australian gelding took it up a notch when he landed back-to-back wins in Class 4.

A winner over 1075m on the No. 2 track at Sungei Besi last month, BATTLESTAR had to battle hard in a four-horse line-up in the Class 4 - 1200m sprint here today.

The six-year-old hit the front 100m out was challenged by stablemate WINNER'S EUPHORIA who was flashing home in the closing stages. A deadheat was declared.
