Hattrick for Sharee Hamilton in Penang

Trainer Sharee Hamilton saddled three winners here today, her best results at her former home ground after relocating her stables to Sungei Besi last September.

ACE'S WILD, who left her care briefly last September before rejoining her at Sungei Besi, made it back-to-back wins when he came from well off the pace early to score in a Class 5 - 1200m sprint. It was the gelding's fifth win for Hamilton.

BATTLESTAR, who scored back-to-back wins for Hamilton back in February, was back in the winner's circle after winning the other Class 5 - 1200m handicap. It's the gelding fourth win for Hamilton.

DABBLE, a recent transfer to Hamilton, made it two wins in three starts for the trainer with a runaway win in the Class 4 - 1100m sprint.

Unplaced in nine runs in Singapore, the New Zealand gelding has scored four wins in nine outings since moving to Malaysia.

The day's racing started on a shock note for punters when ULURU bounced back to form after four unplaced runs to take the opening event to pay RM363 for a win.

The Australian has three prior victories and last scored in February this year.
