 RACE 1:  CLASS 5, DIV 1 - 1400M

BRANKSOME (M Zaki) and OCEAN WORLD (M Ewe) both began awkwardly.

GOOD LOOUKEN (App WS Chan) and REAL HERO (App TR Barnabas) bumped on jumping.

Shortly after the start, GRAND SEVEN SEAS (A Munro) and ROSEGOLD (A Da Silva) bumped. ROSEGOLD then shifted outwards and bumped APPELLATION (App R Shafiq) out onto the hindquarters of CONFALCON (S John).

Near the 1100m, APPELLATION laid inwards and had to be steadied off the heels of VITALLY SECRET (App R Firdhaus).

VITALLY SECRET raced keenly passing the 1000m.

Near the 500m, REAL HERO eased outwards after becoming awkwardly placed on the heels of VITALLY SECRET. As a result, CHEETAH KING (T Bell), which was racing to the outside of REAL HERO, was hampered.

After passing the 400m, CONFALCON steadied to avoid the heels of ZAC COMMAND (App CK Ng), which shifted inwards under pressure. App Ng was subsequently shown the film of the incident and warned to exercise greater care when shifting ground in future.

REAL HERO had a tendency to lay inwards over the concluding stages.

The Farrier reported that CHEETAH KING returned having cast its off-fore plate.

The Farrier reported that both APPELLATION and PERCIUS (App CC Wong) returned having cast their near-fore plates.

Jockey John reported that CONFALCON was not striding out freely.  A subsequent veterinary examination revealed that the horse returned having bled. In terms of MRA Rule 92(3), it will not be permitted to canter or gallop on the main training tracks of any racecourse for a period of two months, and may not start in any race for a period of three months, and then only after having satisfactorily passed a bleeder’s test.

 

 RACE 2:  INITIATION - 1600M

RAAJPOOT (App CC Wong) was restless in the barrier. Trainer S Gray was advised that a warning has been placed on RAAJPOOT regarding its barrier manners and to take steps to improve them or action may be taken in future.

GURU-GURU (I Saifudin) was restless in the barrier. Trainer D Koh was advised that a warning has been placed on GURU-GURU regarding its barrier manners and to take steps to improve them or action may be taken in future.

WINNING GOOD (App R Hasri) and RAHUL (App R Zawari) bumped on jumping.

GURU-GURU jumped away awkwardly.

BLACK SWAN (App K A’Isisuhairi) lost ground shortly after the start when crowded between BIG BANKER (T Bell) and MASTER BANGER (R Woodworth), which shifted outwards after jumping away awkwardly.

MIRREN (A Munro) raced wide throughout.

WINNING GOOD raced wide from the 800m.

Passing the 300m, RAHUL momentarily steadied off the heels of GURU-GURU, which shifted outwards.

Near the 200m, WINNING GOOD, which hung inwards, shifted inwards carrying TIGER BAY (M Rodd) in onto SING EXPRESS (CW Brown), which had to be taken inwards across the heels of ROYAL EXPLORER (B Vorster).

Passing the 200m, EAGLESHAM (App R Shafiq) eased when crowded between BLACK SWAN and GURU-GURU, which shifted outwards. Jockey Saifudin was subsequently shown the film of the incident and warned to exercise greater care when shifting ground in future.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on MIRREN which revealed no apparent abnormality. MIRREN, which raced poorly, will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial and veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on SING EXPRESS which revealed no apparent abnormality.

 RACE 3:  BENCHMARK 83 - 1600M

BLUE DANUBE (App K Toh) raced wide throughout.

MIGHTY WARRIOR (CW Brown) laid inwards under pressure from the 250m and in doing so, shifted inwards and brushed BLUE DANUBE near the 150m.

 RACE 4:  INITIATION - 1200M (POLYTRACK)

NEVER DEFEATED (A Munro) was slow to begin.

DURAN (App R Shafiq) jumped inwards at the start making contact with THE WIND (R Woodworth).

Shortly after the start, LADRONE (M Kellady) and AMISTAD (App J See) bumped.

AMISTAD was difficult to settle in the early stages.

Passing the 500m, PALTROW (M Rodd) and AMISTAD were both carried wider when LIM’S RESPOND (T Bell) shifted outwards across the heels of LADRONE. Jockey Bell was subsequently shown the film of the incident and warned to exercise greater care when shifting ground in future.

CACTUS JACK (A Da Silva) shifted outwards abruptly shortly after passing the 100m.

The Veterinary Surgeon reported that DURAN bled. In terms of MRA Rule 92(3), it will not be permitted to canter or gallop on the main training tracks of any racecourse for a period of two months, and may not start in any race for a period of three months, and then only after having satisfactorily passed a bleeder’s test.

 RACE 5:  CLASS 5, DIV 2 - 1400M

After arriving at the barrier, SUVARNABHUMI (CW Brown) had its saddle readjusted.

STAR BEAUTY (App R Shafiq) was slow to begin.

ABOVE REACH (M Au) jumped away awkwardly.

Shortly after the start, PRINCETON (App A Feiruz) shifted outwards after making contact with ALADDIN (S Sam). This resulted in PRINCETON bumping SUPERMART (A Munro) out onto GREAT BALLS OFFIRE (T Bell), which made contact with the hindquarters of BREAKING VAULTS (App K Toh).

Shortly after passing the 300m, AFTERNOON DELIGHT (M Rodd) steadied when crowded between GREAT BALLS OFFIRE and KING OF KOON (App T See), which shifted outwards and away from SUPERMART.

Approaching the 200m, ALADDIN was disappointed for a clear run and shortly after had to be taken outwards to obtain clear running.

Near the 150m, DR N WING FIGHTERS (App M Jailani) had to be eased after being crowded to the inside of PRINCETON, which shifted inwards when giving ground.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on ABOVE REACH which revealed no apparent abnormality.

 RACE 6:  CLASS 4 - 1600M (POLYTRACK)

Due to a delay resulting from the heavy downpour and lightning in the vicinity of the Race Course prior to Race 6, this race was put back twenty minutes and rescheduled to start at 1545Hrs.

FOURVIERE (R Woodworth) began awkwardly.

Shortly after the start, QUETZAL (T Bell), which was slow into stride, had to be eased when crowded between DANNY (M Rodd) and MEAISIN (A Munro), which shifted inwards and away from SWIFT (O Chavez).

Approaching the 1400m, FOURVIERE became unbalanced when being steadied off the heels of INVINCIBLE GOLD (App R Shafiq), which shifted inwards.

Near the 1200m, INVINCIBLE GOLD, which was racing wide, was carried wider when SWIFT, laid outwards and away from SKY ELEVEN (App WS Chan), which in turn had laid outwards.

Passing the 1200m, SWIFT raced tight to the inside of INVINCIBLE GOLD when FOURVIERE and DRAGON G (App T See) improved to their inside. This resulted in SWIFT having to be eased and then taken outwards, resulting in it racing wide for the remainder of the race.

Passing the 800m, FOURVIERE lost ground when racing tight between DRAGON G and INVINCIBLE GOLD.

QUETZAL raced wide from the 600m.

Subsequent veterinary examinations were requested on both INVINCIBLE GOLD and QUETZAL which revealed no apparent abnormality.

 RACE 7:  KRANJI STAKED D - 1900M (POLYTRACK)

Due to a delay in the start time of Race 6, this race was put back twenty minutes and rescheduled to start at 1615Hrs.

SCHILTRON (App K A’Isisuhairi), which stood flat-footed losing considerable ground, will be required to pass one starting stall test prior to being declared to race again in terms of MRA Rule 78(2).

KNOW EACH OTHER (B Vorster) raced wide throughout.

Making the turn into the straight, SLAYER (CW Brown) broke down, resulting in it being eased out of the race. The Veterinary Surgeon reported that SLAYER ruptured its off-fore suspensory and was subsequently humanely euthanised.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on SCHILTRON which revealed no apparent abnormality.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on SINGSURAT (T Bell) which revealed that the horse returned not striding out freely.

 RACE 8:  CLASS 4, DIV 2 - 1100M (POLYTRACK)

Due to a delay in the start time of Race 7, this race was put back twenty minutes and rescheduled to start at 1645Hrs.

PURE TACTICS (O Chavez) jumped awkwardly inwards and bumped MINGS MAN (App CS Chin), resulting in that gelding having to be eased off the heels of LADY ROULETTE (A Da Silva).

BARNATO (B Vorster) raced wide throughout.

Near the 300m, MINGS MAN momentarily steadied off the heels of CAPTAIN MCCAW (App K Toh), which rolled inwards.

Near the 100m, HELEN (App K A’Isisuhairi) was held up for a run between KAISER BRIGHT (S Sam) and BARNATO, which rolled inwards.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on BARNATO which revealed no apparent abnormality.

 RACE 9:  LANDEX CUP
                 OPEN STAKES - 1200M

Due to a delay in the start time of Race 8, this race was put back twenty minutes and rescheduled to start at 1720Hrs.

Permission was granted for Jockey A Da Silva to replace Jockey M Rodd on HUKA FALLS as the latter was unable to make the weight. Jockey Rodd was subsequently fined a sum of S$200 in terms of MRA Rule 107(9).

OLYMPIC ANTHEM (T Bell) was slow to begin after jumping away awkwardly.

SOUTHERN BOSS (App J See) jumped away awkwardly.

Approaching the 1100m, SLEW OF LODE (B Vorster) became awkwardly placed on the heels of MY LUCKY STRIKE (App R Shafiq), which laid inwards. Shortly after, SLEW OF LODE was then crowded when MY LUCKY STRIKE shifted inwards and away from WIMBLEDON (CW Brown), which in turn shifted inwards and away from SOUTHERN BOSS when that gelding shifted inwards. THESE STREETS (O Chavez), which was following, shifted outwards, resulting in OLYMPIC ANTHEM being momentarily inconvenienced. OLYMPIC ANTHEM then commenced to race keenly and got its head up on a number of occasions and passing the 1000m, OLYMPIC ANTHEM had to be eased when GOOD NEWS (E Aslam) shifted inwards.

MY LUCKY STRIKE had difficulty obtaining clear running between the 200m and the 100m.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on SOUTHERN BOSS which revealed no apparent abnormality.

STREET CHAMP (E Aslam), which stood flat-footed losing considerable ground, will be required to pass one starting stall test prior to being declared to race again in terms of MRA Rule 78(2).

Shortly after the start, RON (M Rodd) was bumped by FOREVER BEST (S John), which was carried outwards by SUPERB SEVEN (App CC Wong).

Approaching the 1400m, BIGCAT RHAPSODY (M Kellady) steadied after becoming awkwardly placed on the heels of SUN DANCE (R Woodworth).

Near the 1400m, PEREGRINE FALCON (I Saifudin) eased when crowded between RON, which rolled inwards and CLERMONT CLUB (App R Shafiq), which shifted outwards.

Shortly after passing the 1200m, SUN DANCE got its head up after being eased when racing up onto the heels of BIGCAT RHAPSODY.

PEREGRINE FALCON raced wide throughout.

HEAR ME (App P Dellorto) raced wide from the 800m.

 RACE 11:  CLASS 4, DIV 1 - 1100M (POLYTRACK)

Due to a delay in the start time of Race 10, this race was put back twenty minutes and rescheduled to start at 1825Hrs.

App T See, the rider of BLUE DIAMOND, was fined a sum of S$200 for negligence in terms of MRA Rule 152(5)(a) in that he failed to claim and ride at his declared riding weight.

BELLUS WONDER (A Da Silva) jumped awkwardly outwards and CAPTAIN BLONDIE (KB Soo) jumped awkwardly inwards, resulting in both horses bumping heavily and becoming unbalanced.

KLEVER WARRIOR (M Kellady) was slow to begin.

LUCKY MISSION (R Woodworth) jumped away awkwardly.

DUTY FREE (I Saifudin), which jumped away awkwardly, lost ground when reluctant to stride out in the early stages.

Near the 800m, GRAVITY (App M Jailani) and CAPTAIN BLONDIE raced tight for a short distance to the inside of CLIP THE TICKET (App R Shafiq).

LUCKY MISSION raced wide throughout.

Making the turn into the straight, TOP GUN (App K A’Isisuhairi) was momentarily inconvenienced when BLUE DIAMOND laid outwards.

TOP GUN was inclined to lay inwards in the straight.

App R Shafiq who rode his 151th winner on CLIP THE TICKET will not be permitted to claim with effect from Monday, 2 November 2015.

 RACE 12:  CLASS 4 - 1200M

Due to a delay in the start time of Race 11, this race was put back twenty minutes and rescheduled to start at 1855Hrs.

Acting on veterinary advice that MILLION ROUND (I Saifudin) was found to be lame off-fore, the Panel of Stewards ordered its withdrawal at 1854Hrs. In terms of MRA Regulation 24.2, it must be presented to an Official Veterinary Surgeon prior to being declared to race again.

IMPERIAL BOY (App J See) jumped awkwardly outwards and carried COTE DE NUITS (CW Brown) out onto LIM’S BULLET (T Bell).

Approaching the 900m, ZHUHAI (M Rodd) shifted inwards and bumped CONVICT (App P Dellorto) in onto IMPERIAL BOY, which in turn bumped COTE DE NUITS.

ZHUHAI, CONVICT and IMPERIAL BOY all raced wide throughout.

Approaching the 500m, SOON YI (TH Koh) had to be eased after racing up onto the heels of SILVER STAR (App K Toh).

Near the 500m, ZIPPY GENERAL (App K A’Isisuhairi) shifted outwards and bumped SATCHMO (App CC Wong).

SOON YI had difficulty obtaining a clear run from the 450m. SOON YI then had to be eased when crowded between ALOHA (M Ewe) and BLACK MAGIC (App T See), which hung inwards passing the 200m. Shortly after, SOON YI then had to be eased across the heels of BLACK MAGIC, which continued to hang inwards.

PHILANTHROPIST (App R Hasri) had difficulty obtaining clear running from the 400m to the 200m.

Near the 350m, SILVER STAR was momentarily crowded between ALOHA and QUEEN’S SEVEN (App R Shafiq), which rolled inwards slightly.

Passing the 300m, BLACK MAGIC and COTE DE NUITS bumped for a short distance.

Near the 250m, ALOHA eased to avoid the heels of SILVER STAR, which rolled inwards.

POST-RACE URINE/BLOOD: SUNDAY
SINGAPORE 04 OCTOBER MEETING 2015

The Stewards acceded to Trainer M Clements’ request to clear BLUE DANUBE for racing subject to the submission of a subsequent urine sample being free of any prohibited substance.

The SNTC Laboratory reported on 29 October 2015 that a sample which was submitted on Thursday, 22 October 2015 for analysis revealed the horse, BLUE DANUBE, was clear of any prohibited substances and as such BLUE DANUBE was cleared for racing.
