BIG MAVERICK, whose post-race sample returned positive to 3-Hydroxy-N-Methylmorphinan after winning the Raffles Cup last month, has been cleared to start in the S$1.35m Singapore Gold Cup on Sunday.

The Singapore Turf Club Laboratory reported today that a sample submitted this week from BIG MAVERICK had been analysed and 3-Hydroxy-N-Methylmorphinan was not detected.  As such, the Stipendiary Stewards had cleared BIG MAVERICK to race in the Singapore Gold Cup.
