Trainer Roy Rogers has a fine of RM25,000 reduced by half on appeal.

Rogers was at the conclusion of an inquiry on Sept 8 last year charged and found guilty for refusing to sign transfer documents for YHARO and YHANA.

The Penang Turf Club Racing Stewards heard Rogers' appeal against the severity of the fine.

After considering submissions and mitigation from Rogers and the deputy stipendiary steward, the Racing Stewards allowed the appeal on the quantum of RM25,000 and after consideration, the fine was reduced to RM12,500.
