Sathiaa off the mark in second ride

KUALA LUMPUR:  Aug 15, 2015

Rookie apprentice Sathiaa Selan Muthalagan, unplaced in one ride prior to today, quickly stepped it up to land his maiden win on SPARKLER in the final event here today.

It was the only ride of the afternoon for the Frank Maynard apprentice. The winner, trained by his master caused the biggest upset of the day, returning RM98 in his maiden win in nine starts.

Earlier, Maynard also provided a winner DANCING TSURU for comeback kid Ruzaini Supien.

Home based trainers made a clean sweep of the nine races on the card.
